ANMnow  :::  Alternative Network Marketing

First the Bad News...

'Bad News - 5 Bad Things'
There are 5 things you should know before you decide to do alternative network marketing:
  1. There's no one to pay you a regular paycheck in trade for hours worked. This is for entrepreneurs.

  2. Before you see results, you have to put out effort, energy, attitude and resources to mount an organized, thoughtful and purposeful marketing campaign, for whatever you choose to market. There are no guarantees. Sniff. It's what Dell did, AOL, Estee Lauder, Apple's Steve Jobs, and on and on. And now look.

  3. You need to be strong enough to keep going even if you seem to be the only one who believes in what you are doing. Especially around people you know. Help is available :)

  4. Can you live with uncertainty about the outcome of your efforts? We mean uncertainty about exactly when you'll get what results. Sometimes a business of your own is kind of like driving in a fog...it's not as fast as driving in clear day light. That's why there's a chance to gain so much more - if you're willing to drive in a fog. Fewer people can live with any uncertainty, so they end up in the mainstream with a job. And that's fine. But the financial return is much less than for those of us who can live with some uncertainty about the future. The good thing is we're all in this as entrepreneurs. There are thousands of us and you have access to others who have walked where you're about to walk.

  5. There are also bad guys in our industry. They represent the tombstone companies. They're smooth-talking, all-promising loud promoters, who offer fast, big money to all who need it. They give a ridiculous impression of the industry to others, and attract gullible and broke people who think they're going to make a much needed quick buck. Naturally, they don't last. Because the pitch was bogus. Scammers working tombstone companies market no real product or service. They just ask for your money. And promise you can do the same thing. So our desperate friends go away mad. And poorer.

    The tombstoners send out so much trash online that exasperated writers and news media have gotten fed up with it. Ready?

"Every day, strangers send me the most amusing e-mails. My favorites are those that look out for my financial well-being and keep me informed about the latest ways I can MAKE MONEY FAST."

"Honestly, I had no idea that ripping off my friends and family through pyramid schemes could be so profitable! I wish I knew who writes their material; I'd venture a guess that it's the same people who promise suicide bombers an after life populated by virgin lovers."

Ben Stein, Yahoo Internet Life, June 2002

Your first task will be to learn to tell the difference between a tombstone deal with no product or service, like what Mr. Stein refers to, and a real alternative network marketing enterprise. Like learning to tell the difference between good lawyers and bad ones. Good doctors, and bad ones, good accounting firms and bad ones. Need we go on? We'll show you how to make short work of the distinction. We all know where tombstone companies are headed, yes?

OK. That's it for the bad news. Are you still with us? Would you like to see the ANM Business Plan? :-)
